Established Jan 1976, under the auspices of D-XD3030 - OAS. Comes within the framework of F-XF2858 - Central American Integration System. Has been referred to in Spanish as Comisión de Ciencia y Tecnologia de Centroamericana y Panama.
Foster, facilitate and coordinate joint scientific and technological efforts for development in the countries of Central America and Panama; provide a forum for debate of scientific and technological issues in the region.
