Foster reduction of natural disaster process in Central America through the exchange of information, experience and technology; analyse common strategic problems and channel external cooperation.

Activities

'Regular Program': Responds to the regional mandate of CEPREDENAC. Refers mainly to some activities, that in a short time, should be financed by member countries. Activities are focused on the promotion of regional cooperation on issues related to natural disaster reduction process. Also includes efforts in mobilizing international cooperation resources within the countries for preventing and mitigating natural disasters. Under the Regular Programs there are some efforts that are being developing, such as the Regional Plan for Disaster Reduction and Fuerza Institutional de Solidaridad Centroamericana (FISCA). 'Projects': Basically referred to the activities related to the services for the countries in project identification, evaluation and execution.
