Sep 1987, within the bounds of the 'European Environmental Year' of the H-XD0665 - European Community and also as part of U-XK0039 - European Campaign for the Countryside, also referred to as the 'European Rural Campaign', organized under the auspices of the D-XD0435 - Council of Europe (CE).
Aims
Offer necessary technical and professional training to staff members of local authorities who are in charge of development of rural areas; make public and private administration, as well as the public in general, aware and perceptive of the extremely important effect the environment has on tourism; offer advice in tourist and environmental areas in order to develop projects leading towards conservation of the natural surroundings.
