Restructured, 24-28 Oct 1994, Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), following closing down of H-XD4433 - Inter-African Committee for Hydraulic Studies (ICHS), which previously served as coordinating centre. Also referred to as AOC. One of several K-XK0967 - Flow Regimes from International Experimental and Network Data (FRIEND). Full title FRIEND - Flow Regimes from International Experimental and Network Data/West and Central Africa (FRIEND/AOC).
As a regional network, collect, assemble and exchange hydrological data deriving from countries of west and central Africa; improve understanding of the regional hydrological system through a number of models.
