Aug 1989, by Asian Development Bank (ADB), and by 25 other prominent financial institutions from Asia and the Pacific, Europe and USA. Incorporated 26 Aug 1989, Singapore (Singapore). Inaugural Meeting: 4 Sep 1989, Tokyo (Japan). Ceased to exist when bought by a private company, May 2007.
Aims
Assist in the promotion and development of private enterprises in the developing countries of Asia and the Pacific.
