Founded following decision of a meeting Sep 1981.
Promote abilities, ethics and practice of accountants; develop cooperation between professional organizations of French-speaking accountants which are recognized by national authorities, in areas related to their profession and especially regarding the following: theoretical and continuing education, diploma, professional standards and quality control, deontology and ethics, juridical and accounting matters; exchange information on national regulation and practice; support the establishment and functioning of national professional organizations representing accountants and auditors in public practice; represent the profession of French-speaking accountants in international institutions.
