Internal rules adopted 14 Dec 1989, Brussels. Administered by BIR. Since 2014, a branch of D-XM5382 - European Recycling Industries' Confederation (EuRIC). Since 2016, no longer a legal entity.
Establish permanent liaison between accredited representatives of national member federations and European institutions; ensure a link between member associations; ensure representation of member associations and of non-ferrous metal trade and recycling industry; study and examine commercial, legal, environmental and technical aspects of trading, processing, recycling and transport of non-ferrous metals by member associations and their affiliated firms; gather, exchange and disseminate information.
