Also referred to as Réseau de coopération entre les bibliothèques universitaires des pays francophones de l'Afrique de l'Ouest. Currently no longer autonomous but exists as African section of H-XD3026 - Association des responsables des bibliothèques et centres de documentation universitaires et de recherche d'expression française (ABCDEF).
Set up a cooperation and exchange network between university libraries of West Africa which utilize the French language as their working language; facilitate exchanges of available information and resources; harmonize the methods of information handling.
