Aims
Integrate, modernize and protect the South Western regions of Europe; transform the forests into an instrument of economic development; take better advantage of forest production and the environmental quality offered by the area; alert those working in forestry and the population as a whole to the importance of that wealth; protect the forest from damage, especially fire; open up a genuine market for Southern forestry products.
