The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).
History
Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Statutes modified, 1995. Dissolved, 25 Apr 2001.
Aims
Encourage social, educational, scientific and cultural development of and communications among the countries of greater Europe, particularly the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and interaction with other world regions, especially the Mediterranean and Latin America; promote cultural networks and activities among towns and regions of Europe and their geopolitical neighbours; promote professional creativity of young people through training periods and by encouraging their spirit of innovation, leading to employment creation and new enterprises.
