History
Since 1950, organizing symposia in study circles around the Nordic region, and since 2000 also the Baltic. Statutes amended: 7 Aug 1970; 7 Aug 1971; 12 Aug 1972; 9 Aug 1974; 1978; 8 Aug 1980; 28 Jul 1989; 24 Jul 1990; 30 Jul 1992; 26 Jul 1994; 30 Jul 1996. Functions as an independent private organization within the framework of T-XT7163 - Nordic Cultural Cooperation.
Aims
Supplement professional training of students and broaden their academic horizon through interdisciplinary studies and by bringing together students and teachers with different academic backgrounds; further critical insight into common scientific problems, interdisciplinary problems and the relationship between science, society and culture.
