Founded 9 Nov 1958, Strasbourg (France). Originally referred to in English as European Federation of Professional Florists Associations. Subsequently changed title to Federation of European Florists Groups -- Fédération européenne des unions professionelles de fleuristes (FEUPF) -- Vereinigung der Europäischen Fachverbände der Floristen. Current title adopted, 2009. A grouping of the type F-XE0630 - European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) since 1994.
Facilitate or develop economic activities of members and those involved, whether individuals or federations of professionals; improve or increase results of the activities to which the EEIG is related; develop and keep brotherly relations among members; maintain the dignity and protect the interests of the profession; participate in elaborating both social and financial regulations concerning the profession; contribute to professional education and training of personnel; represent members' interests with international organizations, particularly those of the European Union; arbitrate in cases of unexpected differences.
