The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).
History
within the framework of B-XB1490 - International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Ceased to exist when incorporated into ICC Commission on Financial Services and Insurance.
Aims
Promote the international business viewpoint on matters affecting insurance; promote liberalization of insurance services; examine practical problems relating to availability of insurance and reinsurance, pricing of insurance coverage and regulatory measures and tariffs; seek regulatory conditions conducive to full and fair competition; promote development of insurance in Central Europe, CIS and Asia; provide an international forum where insurers and users of insurance services can form views on problems of common interest.
