History
1999, by concerned filmmakers Caroline Baron, Robert de Niro and Harvey Weinstein, as a project of F-XF0054 - International Rescue Committee (IRC) in association with E-XE3016 - UNHCR. Has worked in North Macedonia and Afghanistan and has current programs in Kenya, Tanzania and Louisiana.
Aims
Promote health, strengthen communities and enrich the lives of the world's vulnerable and uprooted by screening films to inform, educate and entertain forcibly displaced people in refugee camps worldwide; provide psychosocial relief to those who have survived trauma by delivering information on critical topics such as conflict prevention, human rights, HIV and AIDS and gender-based violence.
