Aims
Struggle against totalitarianism in all its manifestations; struggle for rights of the individual, for formation of a civil society and of a state governed by the rule of law which excludes the return to totalitarianism and for active participation in democratic transformation; contribute to restoration of historical truth about crimes committed by totalitarian regimes; preserve and perpetuate the memory of victims of totalitarianism; promote the complete and open rehabilitation of victims of repression and take measures to compensate for damage inflicted upon them; protect the rights of repressed victims and of members of their families, including rendering them legal assistance.
