Jul 1992, Porto (Portugal). Previously also referred to as Association internationale théâtre et éducation -- Asociación Internacional Teatro y Educación Registered in accordance with Portuguese law, 1994.
Aims
Offer a forum for meeting and discussion to individuals, groups and institutions worldwide, who are working and campaigning for the universal right to arts education and in particular to the place of drama/theatre in the education of each person; facilitate international communication and information dissemination; support the development of research into the theory and practice of drama/theatre and education; promote and encourage regional, national and international initiatives by facilitating the exchange of drama/theatre observers, practitioners and educators.
