The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

1 Apr 1989, under the aegis of Nonviolent Radical Party, Transnational and Transparty (PRNTT).

Aims

Work for the reform of prohibitionist laws by encouraging studies and research projects on the consequences of prohibitionism, and proposing alternatives suitable for the whole range of social and cultural situations.

Activities

Communication: organizes and encourages the exchange of information between members of the scientific community and with the media; publishing activity; organizes conferences, seminars, debats. Political action: organizes and facilitates initiatives to inform and collaborate with international bodies and public administrations; works to increase awareness amongst the elected members of national and international parliaments. Movements and associations: encourages the creation and supports the action of associations that pursue, at local level, the objectives IAL has set out for itself.
