1968. Merged with H-XD5272 - Association of European Shipbuilders and Shiprepairers (AWES) to form H-XJ3416 - Community of European Shipyards Associations (CESA), Jul 2004.
Aims
Intensify cooperation among shipyards in the member countries of the European Union; represent the shipyards of EU countries with the institutions of the European Union; study any problems which the shipbuilding industry of the Union countries is faced, participate in any studies, seek and propose all solutions and, as a general rule, make every endeavour in order to maintain and promote the activity of the shipbuilding industry in the countries of the Union.
