History

27 June 1951, Reims (France), as International Secretariat of Christian Artists (ISCA) -- Secrétariat international des artistes chrétiens -- Secretariado Internacional de Artistas Cristianos -- Internationales Sekretariat Christlicher Künstler -- Segretariato Internazionale degli Artisti Cristiani, at General Assembly of Pax Romana, International Catholic Movement for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs (ICMICA). Since 1964 the Society is an independent ecumenical Secretariat but remains a member of Pax Romana.

Aims

Coordinate the activities of all societies, groups and individual members with an interest in: (a) employing the artist's imagination for the improvement of environment; (b) bringing together such groups and organizations in order to speak with a unified voice.

Supplies speakers, tutors and lecturers to any part of the world to confer or teach in specialized aspects of arts and crafts. Organizes conferences; seminars. Exhibitions. Spiritual development.
