Established by Resolution No 8/3-C (IS) adopted by 3rd F-XF4974 - Islamic Summit of Kings and Heads of States and Governments. Constituent meeting: 7-9 Jun 1983, Makkah. A subsidiary organ of C-XC4129 - Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Aims
Present Islamic Shari'a in a proper way, highlight its merits and show its aptitude in addressing contemporary human issues and achieving happiness for mankind both in this world and in the hereafter, in accordance with a comprehensive Islamic conception, with its principles, resources and laws, being cognizant of the fact that Islamic Fiqh is the fruit of the application of the Shari'a dictated by Allah Almighty.
