History
3 Nov 1989, Strasbourg (France), as an autonomous organization within H-XD0749 - Confédération européenne des relations publiques (CERP), when adopted listed title. Previously functioned as a working group of CERP with the title European Group for the Study of Public Relations Techniques -- Cercle européen d'étude des techniques de relations publiques (CEDET). However, registered under original title, 29 Oct 1995. Subsequently referred to as European Centre for Public Relations Education -- Centre européen pour l'éducation en relations publiques (CERP-Education) before reverting to listed title. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Ceased to exist, 2000, when restructured as an independent organization, D-XD8996 - European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA).
Aims
Collect, communicate and exchange all forms of Public Relations Research among those involved or interested; examine education models in different countries in order to connect this type of education with the world of practice; encourage fundamental and applied research and study public relations methods as well as their promotion.
