History

Founded 1984, by Dr Fuad Sahin, the late Muin Muinuddin and Ebrahim Sayed, as International Refugee and Relief Program (IRRP) of the Canadian Council of Muslim Communities. Registered in accordance with Canadian law, Charitable Registration No: 132542705 RR0001.

Aims

Empower disadvantaged people of the world by providing effective humanitarian aid and sustainable development programmes, without discrimination, based on Islamic principles of human dignity, self-reliance and social justice.

Activities

Provides emergency relief and rehabilitation to those in immediate need in disaster and conflict stricken regions of the world; administers sustainable development programmes. Organizes fundraising events for development and relief projects, including: Annual Golf Tournament; Open House; Annual Gala Dinner.
