Planned activities: setting up research and consultative centres responsible for the promotion of network objectives in developing countries; organization of training programmes, meetings, events and research concerning environment and development at local, national and international levels; formulation and implementation of national projects and local programmes in accordance with Agenda 21 that could ensure equality of sexes and sustainable development; mobilization of women in cases of threats to the environment and hazards for the ecological, cultural and national diversity of the Earth; recording, protecting and supporting women's activities which contribute in a positive way to the management of natural resources and safeguarding of the environment; cooperation with the mass-media for the dissemination of information and the promotion of women's work; preparation of audiovisual and educational materials.
