The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

Aims

Stimulate good relations between non-governmental organizations dealing with migration issues in Europe; keep the European institutions, in particular the Council of Europe and the European Community, as well as the institutions of the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries associated with the European Community, informed of migration problems in Europe; support associations of immigrants as well as organizations of refugees, exiles and foreign students in Europe in the common struggle against racism and xenophobia, and for the promotion of equal rights and opportunities.

Activities

Promoting the exchange of information and the exchange of views among members. Coordinating initiatives and furthering joint activities. Promoting projects that are in the interest of immigrants, refugees, exiles and foreign students, in cooperation with the European institutions. Promoting campaigns of opinion, studies, consultations and seminars that are conducted by member organizations.
