19 Feb 1954, Milan (Italy), as International Federation of Industrial Producers of Electricity for Own Consumption. Articles of Association modified: 1958, Brussels (Belgium); 1960, Algiers (Algeria); 1961, Baden-Baden (Germany FR). Originally also known as International Federation of Autoproducers of Electricity -- Fédération internationale des producteurs auto-consommateurs industriels d'électricité (FIPACE) -- Federación Internacional de Productores Auto-Consumidores Industriales de Electricidad -- Internationaler Verband der Industriellen Elektrizitäts-Selbstversorger -- Federazione Internationale dei Produttori Autoconsumatori Industriali d'Elettricità -- Internationale Federatie van Industriele Producenten van Elektriciteit voor eigen Gebruik. Currently superseded by E-XE0916 - International Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers, Europe (IFIEC - Europe), the European chapter of H-XD8086 - International Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers (IFIEC), which FEPACE was instrumental in setting up in 1983.
