Survey technical literature on all aspects of ferrous metallurgy, with particular reference to the more important periodicals originating from industrial countries outside the European Communities, especially in languages of Eastern Europe and the Far East, for the benefit of ferrous metallurgical industry, research institutes and professional associations in EEC countries; provide translations of the most important localized publications.
General Assembly (annual) elects Administrative Council of 3-6 members for 3-year term, including President and Vice-President.
