History
Founded 1999, by cultural professionals. Registered in accordance with Belgian law.
Aims
Reduce the isolation of artists and operators by improving their mobility in the Euro-Arab zone; further individual movement of artists and professionals so they can find opportunities, partners and the means to realize personal or collective artistic projects; encourage meetings, networking and encounters between artists to further collaboration and build up artistic teams in the region; promote exchange of experience and the creation of artistic projects and projects of cultural cooperation; enable artists to take part in residencies and training programmes; establish partnerships with foundations and institutions providing international support to artistic mobility; take part in civil society platforms to integrate contemporary artistic and cultural projects in advocacy at the Euro-Mediterranean level; establish partnerships with operators in the region.
