as a programme of Fonds universitaire de coopération et de développement, within the framework of Agence universitaire de La Francophonie (AUF). Also referred to as: Programme des études françaises et des filières francophones (PE3F); Programme des études françaises et du français dans le monde.
Through programmes of exchange and post experience scholarships, promote mobility and continuing education of higher education teachers and researchers both in French-speaking countries and in countries using the French language.Available with paid subscription only.
Departments of French studies exist in most countries. 1. Exchange scholarship programme (set up 1991): Awards scholarships for exchanges among departments of French studies. Fields: French as a second language, as a foreign language, as a speciality language; Lexicology, terminology, translation; Linguistics; Francophone literature and comparative literature. 2. Further/continuing education scholarships for university teachers outside the mainstream francophone area (programme set up 1993).
