Founded Sep 1999, Brussels (Belgium), as EUROPETEL. Subsequently changed title to European Federation of Managerial Staff in Technologies of Information and Communication (eTIC-CEC). Since Nov 1999 functions as a Europe-wide branch of the basically European Union body D-XD1664 - CEC European Managers. Formerly known as Media Managers. Current name adopted, Sep 2006. Also referred to as European Managers Federation of Technologies of Information and Communication.

Represent and defend interests of executives and managers in telecommunications, information, media and communications technology sector at the European level.
