The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

Apr 1987, Paris (France), at 1st General Meeting. 2001, merged with The Network: Towards Unity for Health (The Network: TUFH).

Aims

Promote the concept of multiprofessional education (MPE) by facilitating exchange of information, persons and experiences and by the development of research and evaluation; assist educational institutions for health sciences, organizations and persons that are concerned by the training of health personnel focusing on MPE.

Activities

Arranges meetings and exchange of information and experiences. Stimulates bilateral and multilateral contacts and strengthens cooperation between institutions and persons involved in MPE. Assists in establishing MPE-Programs and facilitates exchanges of staff and students among participating institutions. Staff development and training of teachers.
