Improve the health of people in the Americas through actions involving pharmacists participation; encourage and support a dialogue and cooperation among all national and regional pharmaceutical associations in the region of the Americas; develop and enhance pharmacy practice; encourage implementation of pharmacy practice projects by all national and regional pharmaceutical associations; integrate appropriate PAHO/WHO policies into undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education programmes; formulate policy statements on health issues.
