The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

24 Oct 1973, Rome (Italy), following meetings between national movements which commenced in 1945. Recognized by the Holy See.

Aims

Stimulate and develop apostolic action for the evangelization of youth in independent social movements in the various nations and regions of the world; promote a way of living together that does not reinforce minorities, which favours a world of service of all people to the needs of all people and which enables a responsible approach of authorities to the world's resources; encourage young people towards lives of greater clarity and responsibility and in taking the initiative in passing their faith to others.
