Stimulate the creative documentary by awarding loans to European independent producers for project development and promotion packaging; assist redefinition and stimulation of film and television documentaries.Available with paid subscription only.
Makes available loans for the professional industry at development and fundraising and at marketing and exhibition phases. Only independent producers in the European Union member countries can apply; an independent production implies independence from television companies of its producer and director. According to their present activity in the field of documentary production, the member countries are divided into 3 categories: 'small' countries; 'medium' countries and 'large' countries. Loans of up to ECU 15,000 (maximum 50% of the development budget) may be given to independent producers in member countries for Project Development. Loans up to ECU 5,000 (50% of promotion budget) may be given to films/programmes of member country origin in order to establish a Promotion Package.
