Founded on signature of a document by the Directors of Ecole Française de Rome, American Academy in Rome, Istituto Svedese di Studi Classici a Roma and the President of Istituto Nazionale di Archeologia e Storia dell'Arte. Statutes adopted 6 Feb 1906; modified: 1960 and 1980. New statutes approved June 1990; amended July 1996.
