History
Founded at the Fourth International Congress of Mathematicians. Reconstituted 1952, following the interruption of the World Wars, as a commission of B-XC2247 - International Mathematical Union (IMU).
Aims
Conduct activities bearing on mathematical or scientific education; inaugurate research and development programmes to further sound development of mathematical education at all levels and secure public appreciation of its importance.
