1977, as a non-governmental body, being one of the elements which, on recommendation of the Meeting of Ministers of Labour, was adopted by the F-XF6904 - Simón Rodriguez Agreement, the body that harmonized the social and labour policies of member countries of the F-XD0055 - Andean Community, known also as Andean Group. Registered in accordance with the law of Ecuador. Inactive since 1983.
Adopt strategies and programmes of action with a view to direct the activities of subregional and national bodies so that the means applied to implement the objectives of the Cartagena Agreement lead to the integral improvement of the living conditions in the member countries of the Andean Group.
