Aims

Promote, preserve and educate regarding Sikh religion and Sikh identity; abide by the dictates (Hukamnamas) issued from Sri Akal Takaht Sahib; coordinate and promote understanding, friendship, mutual respect and cooperation among Sikhs, Sikh organizations and the general public; mobilize resources and serve as a central forum for the purposes of serving the religious, cultural, social, educational and economic interests of religious minorities while maintaining the full awareness and respect of the Sikh tenets; promote understanding of Punjabi language in Gurmukhi script, initiate and encourage research, scholarships, educational programs; foster understanding and good will towards all nations, creeds, persuasions and faiths in the international society; promote human rights.
