Unite national organizations in the fields of: protection and improvement of the environment and quality of life; litter prevention, tidiness and beautification; re-use and recycling of resources; encouraging individual and community responsibility for the environment. Provide for exchange of information between member countries, acting as a clearing house for such exchange.
