Ceased to exist, 4 Sep 2007, during dissolution congress, Bangalore (India). Activities taken over by K-XK0006 - International Trade Union Confederation - Asian and Pacific Regional Organization (ITUC-AP).
Further advance the cause of unionism in Asian society; institutionalize Asian Trade Federations (ATFs) in its formal structure and promote formation/expansion of national trade federations as a strategy to organize and deliver services to members and develop 'workers' action towards more comprehensive social goals.
