Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC)
14 Oct 1979, Kuwait, during 2nd Conference of Arab Gulf Countries' Chambers, as Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of the Arab Gulf States, when bylaws were approved. Federation launched in 1980. Renamed, 1990, Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (full title).
Support and reinforce efforts aimed at integrating and coordinating the GCC states economies in commerce, industry, agriculture and services, in order to insure their growth and development, and to protect such economies, individually and collectively, from dangers from any source; identify and promote economic and productive capabilities of the GCC states, both within the area and abroad.
