History
within the framework of D-XD5643 - Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA) and with the support of E-XE4115 - International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT). Operational since Oct 2003 as a successor to U-XK0208 - East Africa Regional Sorghum and Millet Network (EARSAM). Ceased to exist, Sep 2007.
Aims
Enhance productivity, value adding and competitiveness of the ECA Sub-regional agricultural production system through increased production and productivity of sorghum and millet in quality and quantity.
