6 Apr 1994, by Gunter Pauli, under the guidance of the then rector of F-XF2488 - United Nations University (UNU), at U-XK1318 - UNU Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU/IAS). Eventually led to creation of ZERI Foundation.
Serve as a network of scientists and vigorous operators to find innovative solutions to pressing problems of our time, responding to basic needs for all in terms of water, food, housing, health, energy, jobs, ethics and education, with what is locally available using a systems approach and viewing waste as a resource.
