25 Apr 1960, as Union of the Fertilizer Trade of Countries of the EEC -- Union du commerce des engrais des pays de la CEE -- Vereinigung der Düngemittelhandels-Verbände der EG-Länder. Listed name adopted 1994. Became, 10 Apr 1997, a section of E-XE1001 - Committee of the Trade in Cereals, Oilseeds, Pulses, Olive Oil, Oils and Fats, Animal Feed and Agrosupply of the EU (COCERAL).
Aims
Represent, promote and safeguard the interests of members involved in the distribution of fertilizer and pesticide products - agrochemical products -; ensure that every effort is made to maintain the viability of agricultural activities in each member State, without prejudice to the well-being of its people, animals and environment, in order to maintain for Europe an efficient and competitive farming industry.
