Aims

Organize, control and develop weightlifting on a continental scale; develop and intensify friendship and cooperation among national federations and lifters from all African countries; assist the African national weightlifting federations in their activities; as the highest authority in weightlifting in Africa, resolve disputes in regard to this sport that may arise between affiliated federations; control and regulate all African weightlifting events; verify African records.
