Feb 1992. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. Ceased to exist, 1997, when merged with H-XD0563 - European Direct Marketing Association (EDMA) to form D-XD6263 - Federation of European Direct and Interactive Marketing (FEDMA).
Study questions related to direct marketing; detect trends, opinions and projects of European institutions and NGOs; act as means of contact for those concerned in the field and for dialogue with governments and other entities at the European level; centralize information, statistics and other aspects of direct marketing and disseminate this data; cooperate in encouraging more effective direct marketing, eliminating obstacles to such promotion, developing relations between interested parties and promoting its importance in the European context, especially with legal authorities.
General Assembly (annual). Board, comprising: President; one or more Vice-Presidents; one representative of each member, one of whom is Treasurer; one representative of each corporate supporter; Director-General. Corporate associates are not represented on the Board.
