The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

1988, under the patronage of Open Society Foundations (OSF) with support of The Rockefeller Foundation, under the title International Management Centre, Budapest (IMC). Became an affiliated business school of Central European University (CEU), 2001. Current name adopted 2002. Also referred to as CEU Graduate School of Business.

Aims

Train future business leaders with a sense of social responsibility and public leaders with management skills; act as a catalyst, by playing an active role in introducing American style business education to the public and private sectors of the still transforming economies 'east of the EU'; provide undergraduate and graduate education to students from Central-Eastern Europe and across the globe; advance business and society issues in Hungary through thought-provoking research, workshops and conferences; improve the practice of management and leadership through executive education and development for all levels of managers.
