Set up 2003, following an initiative taken at 18th Congress of B-XB3463 - World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (WAAVP), Aug 2001, Stresa (Italy). Inaugural meeting: 27 Sep 2003, Maison-Alfort (France). Recognition awarded by F-XF3984 - European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), provisionally Jun 2003, and definitively 12 Apr 2013. Previously also referred to as European College of Veterinary Parasitology (ECVPar). Registered in accordance with French law.
Advance veterinary parasitology; promote a high standard of training in the field; examine and certify European specialists in the field.
