History
Dec 1998, as a 2-year project funded by E-XE2442 - European Commission (EC). Initial project completed Nov 2000. Obtained legal status as international not for profit association Jun 2000. Officially commenced activities as an association, Sep 2001, Erlangen (Germany). Registered in accordance with Belgian law.
Aims
Provide a multi-stakeholder platform for information, representation, networking and cooperation to support implementation of information and communication technology - ICT - in health and social care in Europe: eHealth; Telehealth; Telemedicine; Integrated Care.
