Aims
Promote prevention, readaptation and social reinsertion services and programmes in West Africa, unified action at national level in each country and the full participation of handicapped people in the social, economic and cultural development of their communities; assist public institutions in framing national policies and action programmes on behalf of handicapped people; encourage public authorities to create and implement special legislation to protect, train and employ handicapped people and to create appropriate facilities; promote realization of community training projects.
