Founded 1996, as Platform for Communication Rights, as an informal network coordinated by B-XC3461 - World Association for Christian Communication (WACC), as Platform for Cooperation on Democratization of Communication. Also referred to as Platform for Cooperation. Established as a clearinghouse for materials on the right to communicate, 2006.
Aims
Work for recognition and guarantee of the right to communicate as fundamental to securing human rights based on principles of genuine participation, social justice and diversity.
